The US launched retaliatory strikes against Ka'taib Hezbollah in Iraq

The US military carried out retaliatory strikes on Ka’taib Hezbollah targets in Iraq after a one-way attack drone hit a US military base in Erbil, Iraq, Reuters reported. According to the agency, during the attack on a US military base, three soldiers were wounded, one of them is in critical condition.

“These strikes will hold accountable those directly responsible for attacks on coalition forces in Iraq and Syria and reduce their ability to continue attacks,” said head of U.S. Central Command Gen. Michael Eric Kurilla. The Reuters article states that the US military successfully destroyed several Ka’taib Hezbollah facilities.
