The US to Relist Houthis as a terrorist group

The US president’s administration plans to designate the Houthi Ansar Allah movement as a foreign terrorist organization. This was reported by the Associated Press, citing sources.

This step is planned to be taken after the Houthis carried out dozens of attacks on ships in the Red Sea, the agency indicates.

In 2021, the United States officially removed Yemen's Houthi Ansar Allah movement from the US list of terrorist organizations.
