Two convicts had their sentences extended for justifying terrorism in Krasnoyarsk Territory of Russia

Two men serving time for assisting the foreign terrorist organization Ha’y’at Tahrir al-Sham kept promoting and justifying terrorism among inmates of a correctional institution in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in Russia.

Based on the evidence presented by the investigative department of the FSB, the court sentenced them to terms of 2 and to 2 years and 6 months of imprisonment under Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

“Based on the totality of the unserved term for previous sentences, the final punishment assigned was from 6 years 6 months to 7 years, to be served in a strict regime colony,” says the press service of the FSB Directorate for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
