Resident of Adygea fined for justifying terrorism

A court in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don found a resident of the Koshekhablsky district of Adygea guilty of public calls for terrorist activities on the Internet and of justifying terrorism and fined him 800 thousand rubles, Interfax reported, citing the press service of the FSB Directorate for the region.

 

The convicted person publicly lauded and justified the activities of the foreign terrorist organization Islamic State banned in Russia and called on muslims to commit terrorist attacks against law enforcement officers and people who do not profess Islam, on social media.
