Pentagon: negotiations between the US and Iraqi military are not about the pullout

The upcoming negotiations between American and Iraqi military personnel would not be about the “pullout of US troops from Iraq.” This statement was made by Deputy Defense Ministry Spokesperson Sabrina Singh at a regular briefing with reporters in Washington. The official added that working meetings of groups of the US High Military Commission and Iraq are planned. Discussions will cover issues such as combating international terrorism, as well as the operational requirements and equipment of the Iraqi army in the region.
