A man with an entire arsenal of explosives detained in Kamchatka

FSB officers detained a Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky resident who is suspected of planning to carry out a terrorist attack using an improvised explosive device. During the search, an entire arsenal of weapons was found on him, the press service of the law enforcement agency said in a statement.

“When the garage rented by the perpetrator was searched, they found TNT blocks, pyrotechnics, destructive elements, containers with flammable liquid, wires and a book with instructions for making homemade explosive devices,” the FSB representatives added.

Several criminal cases have been initiated against the detainee under articles on terrorism and production of explosive devices. He is in custody.
