Kazakh NSC detain a radical person who was planning to fight in Syria

On February 1, 2024, officers of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan detained a resident of the Turkestan region in Shymkent. The man is suspected of promoting terrorism.

In addition, according to the agency, he planned to go to Syria to participate in hostilities on the side of terrorists.
