The Syrian army repelled ISIS attacks near Palmyra

Syrian army troops repelled attacks by Islamic State (IS) militants in the Palmyra area (Homs governorate). This was reported by the Sham FM radio station.

According to the radio station, “army troops repelled attacks by ISIS militants on their positions in the desert areas of Palmyra, as well as north of Es-Sukhnah [settlement] (70 km from Palmyra - note by TASS).” There were clashes. In addition, government air forces carried out strikes on terrorist gatherings.
