CENTCOM: US strike in Iraq eliminates Kata'ib Hezbollah commander
US Central Command claim that they eliminated a Kataib Hezbollah commander in a strike in Iraq on February 7. The statement appeared on CENTCOM profile in X social media.
“At 9:30 p.m. (Baghdad Time) February 7, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted a unilateral strike in Iraq in response to the attacks on U.S. service members, killing a Kata’ib Hezbollah commander responsible for directly planning and participating in attacks on U.S. forces in the region,” the statement said.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the United States would continue to carry out strikes in the Middle East
