The meeting on Afghanistan under the auspices of the UN will take place in Doha on February 18-19

Another international meeting of special representatives for Afghanistan under the auspices of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will take place on February 18-19 in Doha. This was announced by the special representative of the President of Russia for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov, as reported by TASS.

Kabulov emphasized that the Russian side at the upcoming meeting will “be guiding partners towards the right line of conduct.”

Additionally, when asked about the planned Moscow format meeting on Afghanistan, the diplomat indicated that it was “scheduled.” In this regard, he reminded that this event takes place once a year: “Last time, as well as the time before, it was in the autumn, and this time it will be the same ." However, the special representative of the president did not specify whether the meeting will take place in Moscow or Kazan, adding that “this was to be decided.”
