A resident of Crimea has been sentenced to 11 years for financing the "Islamic State"

The Southern District Military Court has found a Crimea resident Murat Kadyrov guilty in a case related to financing the "Islamic State" (a foreign terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation), as reported by the court's press service.

It was noted that he had been convicted under Article 205.1 of the Russian Criminal Code (Assistance to a Terrorist Organization). The court sentenced him to 11 years in a strict regime colony.
