Weapons seized: National Security Committee reports on caches in Almaty region

The National Security Committee and the General Prosecutor's Office discovered three weapon caches in Almaty region in the period from February 6 to 9, as reported by the agency's press service.

They seized four Kalashnikov assault rifles, three magazines, a Makarov pistol, a carbine, a hunting shotgun, and 65 cartridges of various calibers.

According to preliminary information, the found weapons were stolen during the “January events” in Almaty. Pre-trial investigation is underway.
