“The head of the Russian FSB Directorate for Ingushetia - the head of the Operational Headquarters in the Republic of Ingushetia - made a decision to lift the counter-terrorism operation (CTO) regime, which was in effect from 19:30 on March 2, 2024 in some of the areas of Karabulak,” the source said.

Earlier, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) reported that as a result of the counter-terrorism operation in Karabulak, six militants were eliminated.

Three of the militants, including the gang leader, were on the federal wanted list.

The NAC reported that there were no casualties among law enforcement officers or civilian casualties.

“During the inspection of the shootout site, automatic weapons, ammunition, grenades and an improvised explosive device were found,” the committee informs.
