ISIS supporters from Hebron captured in Israel

A joint operation by the General Security Service (Shin Bet), the IDF and the police in the Hebron area resulted in the capture of a terrorist group that was planning attacks using explosive devices. The results of the operation were announced on March 4 after charges were filed in court.

The Shin Bet investigation found that members of the group manufactured about 100 explosive devices to carry out terrorist attacks. In order to do this, they used video instructions from the Internet and received instructions from curators associated with Islamic State foreign terrorist organisation.

In addition, during the arrest and search, an M16 automatic rifle and a Carlo submachine gun were seized from the suspects. The weapons were also planned to be used for terrorist attacks.
