Staff members of the Kirov FSB department prevented terrorism financing

Staff members of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Kirov Region prevented a case of financing of terrorist activities. During operational and investigative activities, they identified a resident of the region who had repeatedly expressed his intention to sponsor Islamic State foreign terrorist organization whose activities are prohibited in Russia. The perpetrartor confessed, repented and renounced his criminal intentions.
