Four terrorists killed in attack on naval base in southwest Pakistan

At least four terrorists were eliminated by security forces during their attack on a Pakistan Navy base on Monday evening in the town of Turbat in the southwestern province of Balochistan. Security sources disclosed this to Xinhua correspondent.

They said the terrorists, armed with machine guns and hand grenades, tried to enter the Siddique naval base in Turbat but were stopped outside and killed in a shootout with security personnel.

After the terrorists were eliminated, security forces began a sweeping operation. The area was cordoned off and a search operation was carried out.

Some sources said six terrorists were involved in the attack, but official sources have not confirmed this.
