The United States conducted 94 operations against ISIS in the first quarter of 2024

In the first quarter of 2024, the United States conducted 94 operations against Islamic State terrorist organization. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced this on Friday.

“We conducted 94 missions to defeat ISIS from January to March, as a result of which 18 militants were eliminated and 63 were detained,” they said a statement published on their page on X (formerly Twitter).

It is noted that 66 operations took place in Iraq, and 28 in Syria. “Continuing the pursuit of about 2.5 thousand militants in Syria and Iraq is an important element for the final defeat of ISIS,” the message indicated.
