Pakistani security forces eliminate eight terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province

Eight terrorists were eliminated during a military operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan. This was announced on Saturday by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department of the Pakistani army.

According to the statement, security forces carried out an operation in the provincial district of Dera Ismail Khan based on intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists.

“During the operation, intense firefight ensued and eight terrorists were killed,” the ISPR said in a statement. Eliminated militants were actively involved in terrorist activities, including the killing of innocent civilians.

A sweeping operation is currently underway to eliminate other terrorists in the area, the ISPR indicated.
