Police detained a citizen of Tajikistan who is a member of IS at an airport in Rome

Police detained a Tajik citizen who is an active member of the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group at Fiumicino airport in Rome. This was reported by ANSA with reference to the police.

According to the news agency, an international arrest warrant was issued for a 32-year-old citizen of Tajikistan for joining the Islamic State and going to fight in Syria in 2014. The man was recognized as an active member of ISIS terrorist organization, the agency emphasizes.
