Two militants planning terrorist attacks were eliminated in the suburbs of Nalchik

In a gardening community in the suburbs of Nalchik, FSB special forces killed two militants who were planning sabotage and terrorist attacks in Kabardino-Balkaria, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) reported.

According to NAC, FSB officers blocked the militants in the gardening community in the suburbs of Nalchik in Kabardino-Balkaria at night of April 11. The militants were hiding in a dilapidated house. As a result of a counter-terrorism operation in the suburbs of Nalchik, the militants were eliminated.

The NAC stated that the active phase of the operation has been completed, and FSB explosives experts were working to ensure safety. Automatic weapons and ammunition were found in the house. There were no casualties or injuries among the security forces.
