Naveed Anjum

Naveed Anjum was born on April 17, 1979, in Muzafargarh, Islamic Republic of Pakistan. In 2003 he graduated from the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, Abbotabad. From 2003 to 2008, he Served in the Infantry Unit of Pakistan Army as a Commissioned Officer. In 2008-2009 he studied at the Foreign Service Academy in Islamabad and the Civil Services Academy in Lahore. Other than his specific education in military and diplomatic fields, Mr Anjum holds university degrees in the fields of Economics as well as in Commerce.

From 2009 to 2023, he served in various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including as Deputy Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Counsellor at the Embassy of Pakistan, Brussels.

Naveed Anjum has been working as Deputy Director of the Executive Committee of the RATS SCO since July 2023. He is in charge of the Department of International Cooperation.
He is fluent in Punjabi, Urdu, English, and Russian. He is married and has three children.
